IAQM extends mission to indoor air quality
In November 2019, after a consultation period with its membership and a positive viability report from a dedicated working group, the Committee agreed to extend the mission of the IAQM to cover indoor air.
Since it was founded 17 years ago, the IAQM has provided a home for ambient air quality professionals. Increasingly, air quality professionals are involved in undertaking both indoor and outdoor monitoring and modelling. The Committee also feels that there may be scope for the IAQM to raise professional standards, and provide guidance and CPD opportunities for professionals working in indoor air quality.
IAQM will now be accepting membership applications from indoor air quality professionals. We have modified our membership criteria to accommodate these professionals.
