Kalaco is a small, multidiscipline company specialising in air quality, odour and climate change assessments. We work with a range of clients across a large number of different industries both in the UK and abroad. 

We are seeking a consultant to join our expanding team either in Bristol, or in the northwest to support the business’s future growth. We are currently considering applicants at all levels and experience.

You will be part of a small, highly specialised team undertaking technical assessments to support planning and permitting applications for various developments, infrastructure projects and industrial installations, as well as investigative and research projects. Our client base covers private developers, local authorities, industrial operators, agricultural businesses, lawyers and community groups. Other work will include emissions monitoring projects, with some site-based work expected. 

Here at Kalaco we don’t believe in listing specific requirements for the role. Whilst there are some skills which we would expect to be met, we believe that skills are best covered by the team working together, and therefore no individual is required to tick all the boxes for a consultancy role. That said, we are looking for someone who:

• Is a good team player and keen to develop their career in small, highly technical team of expert consultants;
• Is proficient in MS Office, including Excel, with GIS and modelling skills desirable;
• Is a clear and confident communicator, able to convey technical information to range of audiences;
• Is confident working with large datasets;
• Has good technical report writing skills and
• Has a full UK driving licence.
