IAQM response to LAQM consultation

Traffic Jam, Glasgow, Scotland The Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM) has written a reponse to Defra’s review of local air quality management (LAQM). The Environment Act 1995 and associated regulations established the local air quality management system, under which all local authorities in England, Wales and Scotland are required to regularly review and assess air quality in their areas against objectives for several pollutants of particular concern for human health.
