Energy Saving Trust Air Quality Initiative Award

The Energy Saving Trust are currently taking applications for their Energy Saving Trust Fleet Hero Award. There are prizes in 10 categories available, from best public sector fleets, to local authorities doing the most to tackle air quality. The Air Quality Initiative Award will recognise a local authority or other public sector body implementing a coordinated and holistic approach to reducing the impact of transport on air quality with demonstrable benefits for local residents. Here’s a video of the Zero Emission Network who won the award last year. There is also an open award for innovation, which will take account of imagination, employee engagement and a willingness to overcome barriers, and will also factor in employee and client feedback. To enter, simply submit up to 250 words explaining why your organisation or colleague should be recognised as a Fleet Hero. The application form and judging criteria are available on the Fleet Hero Awards website. The awards presentation will take place on 24 November 2016 at the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden.
